Sometimes my health challenges get in my way. There, I said it. So I've learned to take advantage of the GOOD moments I have by:

1. Structuring my workload by planning-planning-planning!
2. Cutting back on challenging projects.
3. Taking more small breaks, pacing myself.
4. Working with ONLY "my people."
5. Using my "brilliance" to do the work I LOVE.

📺 I was watching my daily dose of morning news stories and was intrigued by the reporting about two women that "run" the Florida Marlins MLB team. What I found interesting was that girls today, including my 30 something daughter, don't realize how radical this is.

Growing up I was told that I could be a secretary, teacher, or nurse. And don't forget the all encompassing wife. Well honestly I was ill suited for any of these. Business owner is what I chose with some secretarial admin thrown in there. My point being I HAD A CHOICE. Nowadays that's taken for granted and the fight continues.
