Here's the part of the AI conversation we're skipp Here's the part of the AI conversation we're skipping...

AI doesn’t know my clients like I do. It doesn't grasp their history, goals, or personality. That's where I come in.

I use AI for:
- Brainstorming
- Writing & editing
- Research
- Design exploration

But there's still a human making the calls, rejecting bad ideas, and saying, "Nope, that's not us."

AI didn’t eliminate strategy; it made asking the right questions even more crucial.

If anything, it made knowing what question to ask next more valuable.

I think local businesses need a different social m I think local businesses need a different social media strategy.

Because if you're a bed & breakfast, organizer, therapist, restaurant, shop or other local business, you don't necessarily need 100,000 followers.

You need the RIGHT people to find you.

That means I've been looking beyond Instagram and Facebook.
▪️Google Business Profile for people actively searching.
▪️Pinterest for planning and evergreen discovery.
▪️TikTok for discovery.
▪️LinkedIn for partnerships, community visibility and professional connections.
▪️Facebook and Instagram still matter. They're just not required to carry the entire marketing department on their backs anymore.

And frankly, they look relieved. 😉

Have you noticed what Instagram and Facebook are d Have you noticed what Instagram and Facebook are doing with comments?

I have.

They're giving comments more visibility including showing a comment right along with the post in places where people may see it before they ever open the full conversation.

Which got my Social Media PI brain working.

If the first comment is becoming part of what people see when they encounter your content, why are we treating it like an afterthought?

That first comment could:
• ask the question that starts the conversation
• add information that didn't belong in the caption
• give people another reason to respond
• continue the story
• point people toward the next step
• or simply make the post feel like a conversation instead of a broadcast

I've already started intentionally writing first comments into social media content.

And now I'm exploring something else:
Should this become something I teach other business owners how to do? Or maybe even something I do for them? I'm working on it.

Because apparently I can't just notice things on social media.
I have to investigate them.

Let's make this season the most efficient and engaging one yet! Happy Fall, y'all!
📢 Business Owners, SAVE. THIS. POST. Here are 4 qu 📢 Business Owners, SAVE. THIS. POST.
Here are 4 quick and easy steps to breathe new life into your old content:

Audit Your Content Library: Go through your existing content to find pieces that performed well or have evergreen potential. Look for blog posts, videos, podcasts, social media posts, or any other material that's still relevant and valuable.

Update and Refresh: Give your chosen content a fresh spin. Update any outdated information, add new insights, or enhance it with current statistics and visuals. This makes it more relevant and engaging for your audience today.

Repurpose into New Formats: Transform your refreshed content into different formats. Turn a high-performing blog post into a video, an infographic, or a podcast episode. This helps you reach different audience segments and keep your content strategy diverse.

Distribute Across Platforms: Share your newly repurposed content on various platforms. Tailor it to suit each platform’s unique style and audience. For example, break down a long article into bite-sized social media posts or create a series of Instagram stories from a video.

Repurposing old content is like giving it a makeover—new look, same great value!

LOVE repurposing/recycling/reusing content. Have you tried it with old content?
